2298 DPS 1 min 25 sec until oom

Test 2: Aimed only
2100 DPS 1 min 20 sec until oom

Test 3: Arcane and Aimed
2400 DPS 1 min 11 sec

This i find pretty interesting. What you think?

Yeah, I want to try 3 different rotations. Aimed shot only, arcane and aimed together, and an arcane shot only rotation.

I’m hoping to remove arcane from rotation also, thus freeing up 3 points from Imp Arcane. I went pretty heavy into MM yesterday. My spec is kind of sloppy caused I rushed it in order to get our H UP run started. I plan on moving a bunch of points around tonight before I head into Ulduar.

Right now, I am using the same as I was before, but I’m favouring Aimed over Arcane, so it looks like this:
Serpent > Chimera > Aimed > Arcane > Steady.

However, there’s a good chance I’ll switch out Arcane completely and just go with Steady. And I’d also move my 3 points from Imp Arcane to Imp Steady. The problem with Arcane is that it isn’t part of the bleed effect.

I’m going to have to do some testing though, I might respec tonight to test some things out.

Anyways, I hear your frustrations with the Glyphs. I was trying to find someone to make Chimera and Trueshot Glyphs for awhile before a guildy finally told me that no one probably has them yet. /cry
I will also be using Aimed Shot Glyph for now.

We are also starting Uluar tonight, pretty excited.

Question, what rotation are you using now with new patch? I ran H UP with some guildies, to practice out new rotations. I was using Serpent Sting -> Chimera -> Aimed Shot -> Steadies as fillers -> repeat. It seemed to work very well. Though it felt wrong not including Arcane shot in rotation. It seems the argument has come up again, Arcane vs. Aimed. I’m looking foward to yours and Nassira’s theorycrafting on this. I will conduct my own personal test too, but you guys rock on your research.

The problem with glyphs now is the same problem we’ve had forever – it’s all learned randomly after a certain point, and it’s all on a 20 hour cooldown.

It’s my biggest point of frustration, and the one thing that I hate about the profession. I kind of treat my professions in game like I do my real one. If I have a product I want to offer, then I don’t want to provide some half-done, near worthless service that I have no control over. It’s like running a used car lot but not having any inventory, instead selling whatever rolls into the lot that day.

The one good side of it is that you do have the potential (for a while) to be the only source of that item in the entire realm, or even if other people do have it, the only person online at the time.

I saw mention of it early on while doing some theorycrafting, so I never bothered to actually look for it in the notes.
