Mend Pet Cleanup & Blogroll Update!

broom01aAlright, so I did some subtle cleaning up around the blog.

  1. Sidebar cleanup. I removed direct blog links and added more internal links on my side bar.  Self promotion FTW!
  2. Category and Tag reorganization. This is a pretty subtle fixup, but with the help of Simple Tags, I cleaned up my tags and categories, removing tags such as “bloggnig” and “talemts”.  Hrm.
  3. Other Peoples’ Blogs page updated. It’s a snapshot of my ever-changing Google Reader subscription list.  It’s now been split into “People I mutually follow on Twitter” and “Everyone else”.  I tried to grab all the WoW blogs from Twitter profiles I could.
  4. Theme work. Well, not yet.  But it’s coming this weekend.  Should see at least a bit of improvement by next week!
  5. New Weekly Post! I’m working on adding a new regular weekly post to fit in with my WoW Word of the Week (which will return this Sunday) and This Week in Raiding.
  6. My new weekly post will be involving the blogs on aforementioned blogroll, so if you’d like me to start watching yours… send me an e-mail at brajana.mendpet@gmail.com!
  7. (EDIT) Site Meter meter/Feedburner Count. Today I celebrate 20,000  and 80 subscribers, I’ve added a Site Meter and a Feedburner chicklet to the page.  The statistics will be a bit off since I just started the counter today, but I have taken my hits according to blog stats/analytics and added them as my starting number.
